My Rocky Coast Cardigan from Coastal knits has also been getting some love as the temperatures drop.

I finished up a Christmas project tonight (13 stockings for my family, everyone's getting the same gift this year). LOVE that golden yellow color. Reminds me of the warm sunshine - which will certainly help lift my spirits during the cold grey days of winter. I currently have 2 projects on the needles. A baby cardi which I'm test knitting for a designer and a cashmere hat for my dad. Any man that deserves cashmere would be my dear dad. <3

Love the colour and would really like to make that scarf for myself. Seems I gift most of what I make. Really enjoy doing that but it's nice to keep something for myself now and then. That scarf is so beautiful it's one I'd really like to own.

Right now I'm finishing a linen sweater that I had hoped to wear this fall (but it's already too cool!) and starting a baby blanket (brown and orange stripes, perfect for Halloween!). The Gold colorway is remarkable, and your photograph really brings out its character. I love the look of singles--so sleek, not "yarny".

Wow, i just found your blog through Pagan Knitter and my jaw is still on the ground. First off, the GOLD yarn looks just like that, straw into gold. i would love to knit with it, it looks divine and would be great for a cheerful spring knit in the doldrums of WI winters.
ReplyDeleteOn my needles? just coff a newborn baby hat for a friend that was a quick knit just today. Otherwise my DH's giftmas socks are STILL on the needles... SIZE 13 88 stitches around, on size 3 mm needles... 4 balls of yarn...
Also, just curious, did you do a fiddlehead yarn kit at one point? do you still offer that? I'll definitely be back.

I just finished my Breast Cancer Awareness Scarf - it's blocking as we speak so I can graft it in the morning... so my needles are empty and I know they would love to have that beautiful project on them!

I currently have a commission on the needles. Someone at work asked me to recreate a skiing hat she loved but never fit well. The original hat has moose and earflaps. This one will be double thick, still with moose and earflaps, but also snowflakes. All done in hot pink and navy!

(I think there is also scarf somewhere, but it hasn't been touched in so long that really it doesn't count)
